坎耶.韦斯特统领说唱奖项
Kanye West
        本届格莱美说唱领域的奖项由Kanye West一人独揽，成为了说唱类奖项的最大赢家。他凭借《All Of The Lights》击败了Eminem的《I Need A Doctor》获得了“最佳说唱歌曲”“最佳说唱歌曲合作”两项大奖；凭借乐评口碑满堂彩的专辑《My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy》无悬念攻下了“最佳说唱专辑”；又通过和另一位说唱界大腕Jay-Z合作的单曲《Otis》击败了Chris Brown、Nicki Minaj等人，勇夺竞争激烈的“最佳说唱表演”奖项。

这样的结果正如之前本网站的独家预测中所言，与Kanye West本次提名的两张专辑《My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy》和《Watch The Throne》广受乐评称赞不无关系，因为如果只看商业成绩的话，由于这两张专辑风格和主题都略偏艺术与争议，并不是提名中商业成绩最突出的。

略感遗憾的是Kanye West本届格莱美未能亲自到现场领奖，虽然官方说辞是Kanye正在欧洲参加某时尚活动，但想必跟他的专辑《My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy》没有获得本届格莱美的“年度专辑”提名不无关系。因为Kanye本人对Grammy一向是非常重视的，《My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy》没有被“年度专辑”所提名可以说是Kanye的损失，更是本届格莱美的损失。
